Failure

Failure

Failure is crucial to survival. Studies show that you are much more likely to learn from your failures than your successes. Failing brings about a horrible feeling inside of us that we are not good enough. This is part of what makes them so easy to learn from. So that we never feel that feeling ever again, and lead ourselves to a success so wonderful that we end up forgetting all about the failure that made it possible.

Medieval times excite me to no end. They just seem so extremely interesting that it is hard to stop thinking about it. The dark ages were one of our biggest failures as a species. Possibly that is why I am so interested in it, because I want to learn from it.

"It's fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure." ~ Bill Gates

Mass Consciousness

I have said this time and time again. Everyone is intimately connected. We cannot possibly imagine the strength of the bonds across the board not only with our fellow human beings but also with every other being on the planet. Just as we are constructed by millions upon millions of cells which are each their own organism, we are the cells of the earth itself. Just as we are aware of our cells the earth as a collective is aware of us and all of the other different cells that make up its body. We are so amazingly complex and simple at the same time that it is astonishing, and as I will discuss in future posts, this is one of the many ways we are connected. We cannot be undone until humanity and life on earth have both dissipated into the sands of time.

"We are all here on earth to help others; what on earth the others are here for I don't know." W. H. Auden

Healing

Healing, life, and near death experiences

First off let's talk about death. Everyone thinks about it at one time or another but no one actually knows what it is. A fear of death is just a fear of the unknown. Our minds cannot possibly comprehend what it means to be dead. Until it happens, or even nearly happens, this is called a near death experience. Although I have never experienced it myself, I know someone very well who has. It changes you point of view on virtually everything, makes you a happier person in general, and brings you knowledge and wisdom that you cannot possibly explain, and thus healing yourself and bringing yourself up to a slightly higher frequency. Healing has many definitions. It means for physical wounds such as scratches and bruises to heal. It also means for mental and emotional wound to heal, which is a completely different subject matter. Finally, it means to bring back into a state of harmony. As a species we are in a state of extreme disharmony that trails back all the way back to the fall, however we have been getting more and more disharmonious with each passing day as we reach one of the major climaxes in the story of humanity.

"Did I offer peace today? Did I bring a smile to someone's face? Did I say words of healing? Did I let go of my anger and resentment? Did I forgive? Did I love?' These are the real questions. I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will be many fruits, here in this world and the life to come." ~ Henri Nouwen

Friendship

Friends

Friends are people who you have created a bond with, who you work well with, and who listens to your problems as you listen to his/hers. Friends are how we move up emotionally. That is how life works. We build on each other, work together and ultimately reach a common goal. What that goal is, is up to you of course. Cooperation, as I have mentioned before, is how we can fix almost all of the problems we are having on a global scale in order to find our way back to where we were. Therefore friends are keys to the astral, to the realm where thoughts are reality. Back to the world filled with mysterious phookas and majestic dragons. By working together with our friends we can find our way back so that we will never be here again, and who knows, maybe they are the  key to dimensions past the astral as well.

"Friendship is one mind in two bodies." ~ Mencius

More on dimensional levels and Xilph

More on dimensional levels and Xilph

We can clearly see what is on the levels below us, such as trees, insects, crystals, and to a certain extent they know that we are here too. They can't possibly imagine what we actually look like but nonetheless they do know and we have an affect on each other.

Its the same kind of thing with fae and other beings of higher dimensions. They see us, and a small few of us know that they are there (the only reason its not more is because of the fall). The first interaction I had with Xilph was actually kind of funny. I was walking down from the top of the hill in front of my house and I began to get hit with acorns every few seconds. I knew they weren't naturally falling because they were coming in at an angle and they weren't hitting anywhere else. I began to hear laughing inside my own head that at the same time seemed to come from a specific place in the trees the acorns were coming from. I looked up but didn't see a thing.

Xilph is an amazing being that never ceases to impress me. We communicate often now, his riddles lead me towards new knowledge everyday.

Please keep in mind that the picture below is not him but a different phooka that Arthur Spiderwick came into contact with.

"Do not fill your heart with greed, fill it with another need. Something better, something clean. Love perhaps? but that's a scene." ~Xilph

Intuition

Intuition

Intuition was praised by Albert Einstein. Intuition is the act of knowing something without thinking about it. It is central to our daily lives. For example intuition is one of the ways we know that if something is giving off smoke or steam that it is probably hot, you don't really need to think about it. Intuition is the antonym for thinking. We wouldn't really be able to function without either.

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition." ~ Steve Jobs

War.

Violence, War, and Pain

War is the biggest thing that is currently holding us back. Most wars are related to religion. A few are related to resources. Some are also related to power. No matter the cause, war is idiotic. I explained in a previous post how everyone on the planet is family. We are killing our distantly related cousins... over religions (most of which are against war), resources (which we should be sharing instead of fighting over), and power (if beggars are related to ancient kings, then isn't everyone equal?).

Every war is both a Civil war between the members of our own planet, and a family feud that shreds the family tree into sawdust. we are all one family, species, and inhabitants of this place we call earth. It is the home to all of us. We have to share it, but at the same time not destroy it (fracking it for ores and bombing it with nuclear missiles would be two perfect examples of destroying it.)

We have to learn to all live in harmony, and peace.

"Mankind must put an end to war before war puts an end to mankind." John F. Kennedy
